By using Muzik 2007 (“the App”), you agree to these terms. The App is published by Sundai for Mac and iPhone (Apple App Store), for Windows (Microsoft Store and direct download) and for Android (Google Play and direct download). “We” and “us” below mean Sundai. These terms cover all of them.
The App is licensed, not sold. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control. Where you obtained the App from a store, that store’s terms also apply.
You keep ownership of every file you add. We claim no rights over your music, your artwork, your playlists or your listening history, and none of it is transmitted to us — see the Privacy Policy.
The direct-download Windows App includes a general-purpose tool that downloads the audio from a link you supply and saves it to your own disk as an mp3. The Microsoft Store build does not include it, so this section does not apply if you installed the App from the Microsoft Store.
You are responsible for what you download with it. By using the tool you confirm that, for each link you give it, you either own the content, hold the necessary rights or licence, or are otherwise permitted by law to make the copy. Many sites’ terms of service restrict or prohibit downloading; it is on you to know and follow the terms of the site you are using and the copyright law of your country.
We do not host, supply, index, recommend, catalogue or have any connection to the content you choose to download. The App contains no library of media, no search directory of other people’s recordings, and no means of sharing anything you download with anyone else. The tool acts only on a link you paste, and it never uploads.
Nothing in the App is intended to encourage or assist copyright infringement, and you may not use it for that purpose.
The Windows App runs a small server so your own phone can pull your own library over your own Wi-Fi. You are responsible for the network you run it on and for which devices you pair with it. It serves only to devices that have entered the pairing code shown on your screen.
The mp3 downloader is built on yt-dlp (Unlicense) and FFmpeg (LGPL), which are separate open
source projects not affiliated with us. They ship only with the direct-download Windows build,
and are governed by their own licences, reproduced in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt in the install
folder and in the App’s Licences screen. We provide no warranty for them and do not control
their behaviour.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT ANY DOWNLOAD OR SYNC WILL SUCCEED, OR THAT YOUR FILES WILL NOT BE LOST. KEEP YOUR OWN BACKUPS OF ANYTHING YOU CARE ABOUT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, FILES, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR TEN US DOLLARS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is so, the exclusions and limits above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sundai from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you download, copy or distribute using the App, or from your breach of these terms or of any law.
The iPhone App offers an optional tip. Tips are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms, are voluntary, unlock no features, and are non-refundable. The Windows and Android Apps offer no purchases of any kind.
We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with the date above updated; continuing to use the App after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
