Muzik 2007 watches folders you already have. Nothing is copied, moved, renamed, or written into them.
It reads MP3, M4A/AAC, FLAC and WAV, with tags and embedded artwork. Missing details can be filled in from a lookup, or edited by hand — select several songs and edit them together. Tag edits change the library only; your files are never rewritten.
This one is not in the Microsoft Store version. If you installed from the Store there is no mp3 downloader page; get the direct download if you want it.
Paste a link on the mp3 downloader page. The audio is saved as a tagged 192 kbps mp3 in the Muzik 2007 folder inside your Music folder, which is watched like any other, so it appears in your collection straight away. You can leave the page — the download keeps going.
You are responsible for having the right to download whatever you paste. See the Terms of Use.
Everything crosses your own Wi-Fi. Nothing uploads, and there is no account.
If the phone can’t see the PC:
Sync pulls your library from the Windows app; see the steps above. The player is the Zune HD interface: drag on the touchpad to scroll, tap the centre to select, menu to go back, and play/pause and skip on the pad.
Settings covers the equalizer, the Silver and Black shells, the background gradients, repeat, and which songs to delete.
Mac and iPhone sync through your own iCloud account, not over Wi-Fi.
Make sure the app wasn’t force-closed, and that Low Power Mode isn’t restricting background activity.
Muzik 2007 collects nothing — no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads. Read the Privacy Policy; it’s short.
