Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Controlla, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Controlla is a wireless mouse and keyboard controller app that allows you to control your Mac from your iPhone or iPad over a local WiFi network.

Free and Pro Features

Free Version:

• Virtual joystick mouse control
• Left and right mouse click buttons (L/R)
• Device discovery via WiFi

Pro Subscription ($0.99/month):

• Text input capability
• Keyboard actions (Enter, Backspace, Space)
• 7-day free trial
• Family Sharing enabled

Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple ID account
• Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Settings
• No refunds for partial months
• Free trial automatically converts to paid subscription unless cancelled

Requirements

• Compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac
• Both devices must be on the same WiFi network
• macOS Accessibility permissions (for Mac receiver)
• iOS 15.0+ or macOS 12.0+

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Controlla only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the app to access systems you don't own or have permission to control
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to bypass subscription requirements

Disclaimer of Warranties

Controlla is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected
• The app is free of viruses or harmful components

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Christian Okeke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the app.

Accessibility Permissions

Controlla requires macOS Accessibility permissions to function as a receiver. This permission allows the app to simulate keyboard and mouse input. By granting this permission, you acknowledge that:

• The app will only use this permission for its intended functionality
• You are responsible for ensuring proper security of your WiFi network
• You should only connect to trusted devices

Updates and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time without notice. We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Controlla at any time, for any reason, without notice.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Apple App Store

Controlla is distributed through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In case of conflict between these terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA takes precedence.
