Camera Access

The Pro version of Tagwise uses your device's camera for the price scanning feature. Important details:

• Camera access is used solely for real-time text recognition to detect prices
• No images or video are stored, recorded, or transmitted
• All processing happens locally on your device
• Camera data never leaves your device

Location

If you allow it, Tagwise uses your approximate location to work out which country you are in, so it can set the local currency when you travel. Important details:

• Only the country is used; your location is not stored, shared, or sent to us
• The country is looked up using Apple's location services
• Location is optional: you can decline and pick currencies yourself

Exchange Rate Data

The app fetches current exchange rates from a third-party API to provide accurate currency conversions. This request does not include any personal information or device identifiers.

In-App Purchases

Our app offers Pro subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple may collect data related to your purchases according to their own privacy policy.

Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• Camera Access: Required for the price scanning feature. This permission is used solely for real-time text recognition and no images are stored.
