Use the Calculator tab to enter an amount. Select your source currency (the currency you have) and destination currency (the currency you want to convert to) by tapping on the flags. The conversion happens automatically in real-time.
The price scanner is a Pro feature. Once subscribed:
1. Go to the Scan tab
2. Point your camera at any price tag
3. The app will automatically detect the price and show the conversion
4. Tap "Calculator" to use the scanned amount in the calculator
Tap on either flag in the conversion header to open the currency picker. You can search for currencies by name or code. Tap the swap button (arrows) between the flags to quickly swap source and destination currencies.
Exchange rates are fetched from reliable financial data providers and updated regularly. However, actual rates at banks or exchange services may vary slightly. The app is intended for estimation purposes.
Go to the Scan tab and tap "Start Free Trial". You'll have 7 days of full Pro access. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.
1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap "Subscriptions"
4. Select CoinConvert Pro
5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
If you've previously subscribed on this Apple ID, tap "Restore Purchases" on the Scan tab to restore your Pro access.
Try these tips:
- Ensure adequate lighting on the price tag
- Hold your phone steady about 6-12 inches from the price
- Tap on the screen to manually focus on the price area
- Make sure the price text is within the scanning brackets
